I know I am not Like Laura, nor am I as good as the Dutch, but somehow my style just works out for me.
I remember being miserable the whole day yesterday. I just want to find a place to settle down long term and meditate. That has been the theme so far on my trip to India. Not being able to find one and facing the bleak future of a INR 500 per night stay, I had really dark thoughts about this spiritual journey.
Today, I returned to an ashram that Anna recommended yesterday. Somehow, as I was reading a book over breakfast, I got this urge to go and check and I seem to have arrived at just the right time. Said just the right thing to have landed a room. I was not begging. My negotiation style uses more power, familiarity and challenge of a chase concepts. It’s not a way that gets me free stuff, but it gets me the things I need with the least amount of wasted time while still being cost efficient.
This ashram is always full, I got a head of people who’ve been waiting for 4 ~ 5 days without the usage of seduction or begging at my disposal. So there must be something to it.
