I want to go home, but where is home?

Meeting awesome people and then having to say goodbye is taking its toll on me. Especially now in the off season when everyone that’s still traveling are long term vagabonds.

People are a bit older and are mostly financially secure and our conversation topics do not bore each other. Topics about housing, finances, politics are all up for grab. I like being able to freely express my thoughts in the company if others who understand. But how do you become close friends with people that floats in and out of your life randomly?
