Mutiny
Open mutiny happened today on my team as management told us courtly to handle all overflow from all the other teams. We've been doing this for a month now and they've recently fired 8 people and is suffering from the consequence of that.
“They are running this like McDonalds” A senior colleague of mine said, which I agree whole heartedly. You can't just fire people and expect the new people to fill in the gap with no need for transition. What's going to happen is that the workload will be shifted to the more experienced people.
I keep wondering what could be done by upper management to help with this. They could come by and thank our effort, or ask us to help with the flow control. But no. Why not? I asked myself, is there a reason that they aren't?
